Do I have to choose a time when pre-booking my flight?
When pre-booking your flight on Southern Star you will need to select a time. If you cannot be sure about the time you will be able to fly, we recommend booking closer to your visit date. If you’re in a hurry, then consider booking a Premium Access flight in order to jump the queue.

How long before my flight time should I arrive?
The length of the queue at Southern Star will differ depending on the time you wish to fly. The quietest times with the fastest access will be on weekdays in school terms, between 10am and 1pm or after 4.00pm.
Your flight boarding pass allows you to join the queue 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time. You will also need to allow approximately 5 to 10 minutes to collect tickets. Premium Access and Private Cabin bookings should allow 15 minutes for boarding.
Can Southern Star cater for disabled guests?

Can I pre-book tickets as a Frequent Flyer?
When you are a Frequent Flyer there is no need to pre-book. Just join the boarding queue where your pass will be scanned.
Can I take any bags on Southern Star?
Only small bags and hand luggage can be taken onboard a Southern Star cabin. For the comfort of other guests, no large bags can be taken onboard.
